I say no matter why they receive subsidy's, it's time they got their rich hinneys off the welfare rolls. I don't want our country supporting these rich , over hyped, spoiled ,so called sports stars, their managers and super rich owners.

I agree. Even worse than the ones you listed, the NFL is tax exempt. That's BS IMO.

Tax exempt, and government welfare status for all businesses making huge profits, is a disgrace. That includes the churches whose main goal is to out build other churches, and build up their congregation, not for God, but for bragging rights, it seems to me.

I agree Truth, Look at all the big new buildings, they know how to put on a poor face, but they're far from poor.

I feel the same way about all of these so called non profits, including churches, hospitals, goodwill, etc. how is it non profit, when so many are making out like bandits. Make them pay the same as the average working person has to, then if they really do something charitable, they can deduct that off their taxes.

Sickening isn't it ? When I heard that yesterday I couldn't believe it ! Give to the rich and let poor people starve. How ingrained is this in our government ? I hope something can be done about it, wake up people they're not gods, just rich slobs in a lot of cases.

For all of you who constantly talk about the liberals abuse of welfare, why have I never seen you complain about the NFL not paying federal taxes? Goodell himself made 29 million in 2012 and did not have to pay a dime in fed taxes on it.
