Actually, it was about 6 women that for settlements about 8 years ago. But the story was killed. Thanks to a comedian putting that in his act, the subject was brought up to the public and finally made fair game.

Good question there Fins. Why did you call the accusers "victim"? Was it a Freudian slip?

even back in the days of yore, if just one, one of these women had come forward...asap/immediately...there was such a thing as forensic evidence...

that would make all this so much more credible!

It's all sad....just f'ing sad. Rape is everywhere...colleges, services...I believe it happened. The women were too ashamed back then. Knew no one would believe it happened plus they were ashamed period. Shaking my head!!! :(((

Why are some of you so confused over the tact that this was kept secret for so long? Cosby was Hollywood royalty. He was accepted by white America as a role model. At one time he considered buying NBC. He had the money and power to do so. And, there were very limited outlets to tell such stories. Media services would have been afraid to touch these stories. Now we have the Internet and anyone can go on YouTube if they want to tell a story. And I haven't seen one woman looking for money. They seem to just want to tell their stories

What bothers me about all of this is that it's all just accusations. No charges have been filed, and as far as I can tell, they don't plan to.

But it is still ruining his career and legacy. His shows have been canceled, and everybody seems to hate him. That's really not fair at all.

If they are culpable they aren't a victim.

why did it take so long for these incidents to be exposed... one of the victims says he continued a relationship of a good number of years...really?...now when it comes to being coerced forced or just told do this or else...then it should be reported within 24 hours of the incident....hard as it will be to expose yourself to the repeat event....then let the chips fall where they may...now in defense the law enforcement were not symphatic to the victim...it was a culture of well you should not have been there...or did you really say no or did you mean yes...yeah you did...that is how it has gone on for years.... now these ladies are saying this because?...each indictment needs to be scrutinized on its own basis....there may be enough evidence to go forward perhaps not on all....but too me time has passed already to do anything about it....for those who suffered if it did....I am being them to seek action against this person .... celebrity or not......just my opinon

Okay, whatever, you're still not understanding the term twist and spin. Not TWISTED and nobody said you were Twisted! You have to realize it's not up to anyone to explain anything to you. If you can't get it, it's on you. Not us! GOOGLE can be your friend!

To your original post, some of the blame should fall on you if you pass out, get sick, have to go to the hospital, or even die from taking the unknown medicine. However, absolutely none of the blame should go on you if some sick person sexually molests you while your are incapacitated. While you made a poor decision to accept the pill, or even be in the situation to be offered a pill, it does not justify the alleged actions after you took the pill.

I'd suggest you understand what it means when someone ask you to explain what exactly was twisted and not what does twisted mean.
