Is it the double wide on the right or the house past it?

I know the person pretty well, he was not to concerned about his house. I fully agree with what you both are saying, and fully agree he should have been concerned with his saftey. But this guy was going from neighbor to neighbors laughting and had been drinking. I TRULY hate this happen to the gentleman, I really do. Intact, I would hate to see this happen to ANYONE! All three department's that responded done one heck of a job knocking the fire down and getting it undercontrole, hats off to them. I'm not responding to this to start anything, just don't think the homeowner was very responsible and that's what caused this unfortunate incident.

The first thing they tell you do is get out of the house and call from a neighbors....your post makes no sense....

Maybe there wasn't a phone..

I don't know if I would be standing in my own home long enough to call 911 if it was on fire...I would be terrified that the length of time it took to make a phone call...it would be fully engulfed and smoked filled I couldn't find a way out...or be overcome by smoke.

Until you are sure of the facts...well you know what I mean!

A neighbor did call this in, the man that lived there ran to the neighbors house instead of calling for help. There's something funny I feel in this situation. Why would the guy that lived there not call 911. I do know for a fact that the man had been drinking quite a bit..

I heard the call on the scanner. I think they said a neighbor called it in & said no one was at home.

Right now there's 3 department's out here.. Its completly gutted. The roofs feel in. Its the 3rd house on the right.

It is so not funny, but it does bring a picture to mind of the fireman arguing about where to go to find the fire.

Hope the Fire Dept knows where the Fire is.

But you are right, there is no ball park there that I know of. Which house is burning?

Biteyourtongue

Posted 4:42 pm, 08/30/2014

No it's NOT Welcome Home CHURCH Rd, it's Welcome Home Road and it runs into Welcome Home Church Road.

Its no were near a ball park. Snordrift lane is the 1st road after turning at Ruth's onto Welcome home Church Road. I'm standing here watching it now...

Snowdrift is off of Welcome Home Road. The old Ruth's is where you turn off Boone Trail onto Welcome Home Road, then Snowdrift Lane is on your right.
