Plus, Anti, just look at all the damaged flipflops at the beach. They water is up over the soles. Much more dangerous than China, North Korea , Russia and Switzerland .

I'll see how much it goes up and cancel if I don't like the amount. Paying rich peoples insurance with price hikes. They own vacation homes in high risk weather conditions, the beach for one. Insurance is a rip off where most never use it. I've lived in this house for 50 years and never used it once. Then if you use it they cancel on you, others won't insure you either. This happened to someone I know. Insurance companies should be obliviated.

I wonder why they're asking for 41% in Wilkes, but only 22.3% in Yadkin and 20.5% in Ashe?
From WCNC, though...
The last time the North Carolina Department of Insurance approved a rate increase for homeowners' insurance was in 2020. Costs went up an average of 8% after companies requested a 25% increase.
So they can ask for a 41% increase, but they won't get it.
WCNC also points out that the main reason for the increase is climate change, so it has little to do with Trump's Recession or Trumpflation. We're having a lot more severe storms that cause property damage, so they need more money to continue covering them.

Don't worry if something happens to your house. The market will be flooded shortly with all the payment increases due to high interest rates. Printing money has to hurt somewhere. I feel sorry for all the young couples that bought or built during Trump era and now watch their payments take them out of range of keeping them. It is called a housing bubble.

Insurance is not something you have to have, and you can choose how much you buy.

Given that bidenflation has significantly driven up the cost of home ownership an increase is mandatory.

You have not seen nothing yet. Wait until the increase in government schooling for the illegal immigrants and their healthcare, along with the diseases they are bringing in with them. No Covid shots, No measle shots, No vaccines of any kind but diseases of all kinds. Oh but it is but the beginning Democrats WEAR IT

Our home values rose, so insurance will be raised to match. If you were happy to see yoyr home worth more, you should not complain about insuring it proportionately.

Not Biden's fault, it is global. Hut insurance in Mozambique is expecting a 38% increase too.
