Ohhh calling the EPA sounds awesome. Next time I find a mountain dew bottle with a brown substance inside then I'm calling to have to analyzed and DNA tested.

Why don't they have inmates to clean up the roadsides anymore?

I'm a gonna start patrolling the wal marks parking lot...them big ole piles of tobakky spit and luggies are disgusting and should be considered litter or at least a hazardous material and the EPA should be called and those spitting should be fined and incarcerated. There now

Or the homeless person walked around picking up trash from the roads and it is there ready for pick up.

It's very kind to show so much compassion. Yes, let's arrest everyone that litters, I'm all for it. Next time we see someone toss out a cigarette or fast food bag, we should call 911 and have them thrown in jail. Sounds like a plan to me.

Trash pick up is expensive.

I have also saw someone is living there. I’m curious aka nosey that they are being allowed to sit up a tent and live there . I guess the property owners don’t care and as long as the property owners allow them to live there then we need to leave them alone.

Right goddess, this is probably a handy place for a lot of people to toss trash.

There is no evidence that the homeless person living in a tent...littered!

Well you are complaining and accusing someone of something that in fact don't really know that they committed.

Just because you drove by the overpass and saw a homeless person in the midst of litter, doesn't really mean they've been piling it up themselves. Then you want to have them arrested for it....geesh dude have a little compassion...it's bad enough that person is living in a tent under an overpass.

I don't think you can get arrested for littering, it's just a ticket

But yeah, they should at least clean up after themselves

response. There is trash scattered everywhere in plain view. Looks real good on the town but considering what the roadways in Wilkes look like I guess its alright. SMDH

BUD LT

Coming from North Wilkesboro as soon as you are crossing the bridge if you'll look to the right you'll see a tent with a ton of trash around it. Why don't they arrest these people for littering? If you want to live in a tent fine but why trash scattered everywhere???
