I beg to differ with you Joseph. We don't need more mental asylums but less. Please note this man was already diagnosed with a mental illness and was taking medication and stated that the medication made hm feel funny and he had thoughts of shooting a lot of people. If you will search it out, most if not all of our mass shooters have been on psychiatric medication. Was the medication supposed to help them? Or was the medication given to them along with some kind of therapy to ensure they had thoughts of mass murder? In other words I smell a rat.

I would venture to say that there are those involved with mental health who would help to get guns banned for everyone. Watch the old version of The Manchurian Candidate. This movie will reveal a lot, shows how people can be manipulated against their will with the use of drugs, etc.
