Harry Reid: More funding needed to prevent ObamaCare from becoming 'train wreck'

from the wsj link
Mr. Reid's office says he merely wants to ensure that the generous subsidies in the current federal-employee health plan can continue to flow to Congressional staff once they are required to obtain coverage via ObamaCare's new insurance exchanges. Since insurance companies are referring to the ObamaCare policies that will be offered on exchanges as "Medicaid plus," you can see why Congress wants to protect its own.
Like I said, they already have such a sweet deal, they didn't want to give up anything.

"THIS IS WHAT REVOLUTIONS ARE MADE OF!" Mark Levin BLASTS Congress for trying to exempt themselves from Obamacare
Posted by The Right Scoop on April 25th, 2013 in Politics | 218 Comments
Mark Levin was livid when he found out that Congress has been in secret talks to figure out how to exempt themselves from Obamacare. And he's not buying either Boehner or Reid's statements today to the contrary. In short, Levin says they got caught and you should be furious. And while he made clear he's not advocating or encouraging this, he said it's this kind of thing that revolutions are made out of.

Every link opens.
And they wanted an exemption according to their explanation, supposedly because it will be SO expensive for their staff, that it will cause a "brain drain".
People will leave their jobs because they can't afford the extra thousands it's going to cost them, and everybody else.
News leaked, and they backed off saying "drop this, I don't want to be anywhere near it".
And now you're quoting you usual biased liberal sources trying to do damage control.
Doesn't change the fact, they wanted exemption from obamacare.

From the goggle search I got, No Congress is not exempt from Obamacare. Any considerations for wanting to exempt out come from the fact that they already have such a sweet deal, they don't want to give it up, not because they see Ocare as a failure.
Couldn't get the links to post. One from the Washington Post and another one from Huffington.

No they aren't idiot umpire, but not for lack of trying.
It's been all over the news you idiot.
And as I stated, Yes, the wonderfulness of "affordable Health care' is so wonderful that the very people who passed it in secret, want to be exempted from it, and that was done in secret too.
But, word of it got out, and the public who was paying attention, was furious, and now they say, "drop this, I don't want to go near it."
So now they've backed off asking to be exempted. But the very fact they wanted it in the first place, should tell you what a failing mess this thing is.
Umpire | YOU HAD BETTER READ THE HEALTHCARE LAW AGAIN. MEMBERS OF CONGRESS AND THEIR STAFF ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM THE LAW.

That same site that WA posted seems to know everything there is to know about Obamacare and all should take the time to check it out...especially the myths section.
As new issues arise, they will address those and update the site.

Well to everyone except the usual obamabots... and the 42% who didn't know it is now the law of the land, as revealed in a poll this week.
No argument for Obamacare's repeal can top the simple fact that Members of Congress do not want it to apply to them. Today's Politico reports that the House and Senate congressional leadershipboth Democrats and Republicans working in cahoots with Obama Administration officialshave been secretly negotiating for months trying to find a way to exempt Members of Congress and their staffs from being forced into Obamacare's health insurance exchanges.
WHY? BECAUSE IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE.

Obama said ObamaCare would cost 900 Billion, now the cost is 2.6 Trillion and Reid wants MORE money.
The bill was passed while the Dems had control of the House. So how is it the Republicans were Obstructionists?
You Obama lovers are so blind. I just hope you open your eyes before it's too late.

If you lost your job and could not longer afford to buy your own insurance, then became sick and needed thousands of dollars of care/treatments to be able to stay alive, would you still want everyone else to have that same attitude?
