More people needs to take a stand for Christ. You Christians keep saying we are Christ like. Sad because if you Christians were like Christ you would not fall for Satans deceptions. Jesus Christ did not start the Christian Religion. If he wanted a Religion he would have re-created the Laws and Religion of Moses. Jesus The Christ gives life if you Accept His Words in Faith. He has the power to give you to fight and Sin temptation. Read The Words of Jesus. In them is LIFE Eternal.

trying to keep the commandments wont save you from things to come in revelations

If anyone’s in over their heads it’s the majority of the Christian world with their love of mans word over Gods word. The book of Revelation gives prophecy of what’s coming and in particular the mark of the beast. If you’d truly study you may just find that Gods commandments are a lot more important than you’re giving them credit

Being obedient to our Lord and Saviour and following him into the new life he give us is not the same as trying to keep all the Mosaic laws and commandments in order to gain eternal life.

Claiming there wasn’t a Christian Church in bible times isn’t a valid reason to ignore the laws of God. God gave his commandments to mankind not a particular group. God never intended for us to have all the different denominations we have today but bc we are free to make our own choices and aren’t forced into anything that’s what it’s become. For various reasons and bc we live in a sinful world there’s been offshoots of churches throughout the years bc of power struggles or someone wanting to change scripture etc. Some even admit to changing but the majority ignore it Now we have all the different denominations but the Ten Commandments weren’t given to any one group but to us all.

I keep them bc I love the Lord for all he’s done for me and he asked us to follow his commandments

First , you keep throwing that out trying to insinuate that I am saying to not keep God's word, that is not what we are talking about. It comes down to who keeps God's laws. Do you keep them in order to gain salvation, or does the Lord Jesus keep them for you and thereby give you salvation as a free gift. Under Grace the Lord Jesus keeps them for you and by his grace just gives you salvation as a free gift no strings attached. Now if you reject that gift then in order for you to have any chance of eternal life you will have to keep all the law and the commandments with out fail in any one, now if you think you can do that go right ahead, that is up to you.

Jesus has never asked me to do that but I return tithes as the Bible ask

I love Jesus and considering what he did for me keeping the commandments as he asked is the least I can do.

I absolutely believe Gods word and his word says throughout it to keep his commandments

Doc , do you believe that the Bible is God's word? Do you believe that the new testament is God's word? Do you believe that the books of the Bible that the Apostle Paul wrote is what God led him to write to the new testament Church? You either believe God's word or you believe your word or some other man's word. You have to make up your mind ,

He was preaching on the sabbath bc it was his custom to keep the sabbath exactly how the text reads. The Jewish leaders were upset bc they wanted all authority just like the Catholic Church of today and he was preaching that Jesus is the only way. Their objections weren’t the law

It was his custom as well as theirs, he went to the synagogue because they were there on the Sabbath, There were no Christian Churches in that day. The Jews that rejected his message were upset because he was preaching Christ and him Crucified for the sins of the world. their objections were the message of Saved by Grace through Faith not of works of trying to keep the law.

If Paul had been preaching the Law and Commandments in Amphipolis and Apollonia he would not have stirred up the Jews and caused them to accuse them of turning the world upside down
