Try the Infusium 23 products...they have shampoos and conditioners over the counter...if you want to try professional products, try Biolage...or Paul Mitchell The Conditioner. These are light weight, or waterbased products.

Olive oil is a great treatment for hair...leave in for about 30 mins, wash & it feels great

Vitamin A...will help in supporting the health of hair as it grows.

What you need to do is try different types of conditioning treatments on your hair...remember also that conditioners and oils can build up on your hair causing it to lie flat and lifeless, and look dull.

I recommend water based products....they tend to slow down this kind of build up.

coconut cream for hair at Dollar Tree..take a small dab in your palms, rub you palms togather and then comb fingers through your hair..I dry my hair out with coloring it and I find this helps..! Hope this is helpful !

Well than that might be the problem I am on some medications I did not know that I condition my hair but its just not as soft as it was thanks

is your hair chemically treated...as in perm or hair color, possibly lightened with bleach products used in foil frosting?

Are you on any kind of medications such as thyroid medications or heart medications?

Not trying to be nosy...but how old are you...as age does make a difference?
