The word on the street is that Hadley's is closing! I would like for everyone to know that Hadley's is NOT CLOSING. I repeat Hadley's is NOT CLOSING!!! It will be open on Monday morning, November 3rd, 2014!!! Please share this so the word will get around to everybody! Thanks in advance.

That's the problem. Places like that have the same customers all the time so they think business is great, but eventually those customers get tired of them, move away, or even die. If they don't keep advertising to pick up new customers, eventually the business dries up.
They probably had their busiest week in years because of this thread. If they stay open then in 2 weeks they'll be back to where they were.

I am glad they are staying open or at least I hope this thread is true. I eat there yesterday and they were still planning on closing Friday. Some of you probably don't like their food but I really enjoyed their salt & pepper catfish and 3 sides of your choice, and their open faced steak & gravy on a bun.

i ate there once or twice in 84 or 85 and wasn't impressed enough to go back anymore

Was this one of those "Going Out Of Business Sales"? To drum up business with the threat of closure. Which increases sales to the point they will continue to operate until business drops again. Then, another "Going Out Of Business Sale"!! 
I believe by law a business is only allowed so many Going Out Of Business Sales per year!

I'm eating at HADLEYS... Devastated about them closing. Just talked to the waitresses and they
have now decided they are going to be open Monday, they are not closing.
