Was just told no Hadley's today. Health Department has to do a complete inspection anytime ownership changes. Has to be up to today's code. There is no grandfathering when ownership changes.

Maybe the new owners will have Goodwills and Holly Taters on the menu. Guaranteed success !

I ate at Hadley's Thursday night at 6:30 (chicken and dumpling day). As I was checking out, an older, thin woman working the register told me they were definitely closing on Friday, October 31.

I worked there in 1985-1987.Angie was the boss then. She was hard to work for,But she kept that place going.they had good cooks that knew how to cook.Everyday they were lined out the door to get in to eat.Hank did a good job also with keeping the food good,When he left it has lost a lot of business.I hate to see the place close. But if you don't have someone to run it that knows the business that will happen.

Hadley's started going down hill after Angie (Murdock's wife) passed away and Kim (Murdock's girlfriend) got more of a say about things. It was so much better and would make it if Kim and her family were out of it. That family has had a few restaurants go under in the past now they are ruining Hadley's, it's sad. Hank leaving was a bad move also, we did not see eye to eye but he ran a tight ship the way it should be. I worked for him for six years and hated to leave but Kim and her family were to much. I hate to see it go down like that.

CONFUSED??? So many conflicting stories. Employees stated they were told by DOC that Friday was last day.

presto, me thinks you are right about the cans, but, dang they could add some seasoning to it to give it a better taste than that straight out of a can taste!

Sewer. I don't know a place that don't get their food from cans. I sure have not saw anyone breaking beans or shelling peas in a restaurant lately.

I drove by there couple hours ago, the parking lot was near empty. Three or four vehicles , i wondered if they decided to call it quits early.

That's gonna take all the sentimental feeling out of eating there yesterday.
