Please explain to us what the border did to affect illegal crossings.

If we had a government administration that was as diligent at removing right wing Fascist dictators as past administrations were in removing "Communist" leaders. we might get somewhere with the dealing with the border problem. When you put tyrannical dictators in charge of countries then say it was done for our national security, you're just blowing smoke up everyone's arse!

Maybe we could let the cia off the chain to see if they have any "solutions" for foreign guvmints. oh wait...

Section 212 has to do with legal immigration. That's not the problem at hand. Illegal border crossers is the problem and no presidential order will stop some aliens from crossing the border.

What we need to do is work on why immigrants are coming to our country. If life were better there we would see fewer people coming here. I'm not saying we need to throw a bunch of money their way or use military force. We need to look at how we as a nation can help these nations to escape to grip of authoritarian governments, organized crime families and the belief that things can't change in their country.
