It is not evil to be poor. It is evil to squander what you have.

And Jesus did say that the man who did not earn a return was evil.

I believe that BOTI is referring to the Parable of the talants, kilgore, parable of the talents. Money is not a sin. Just like guns don't cause crime. You can use your gifts for good or for bad. Do not condemn a man for encourage others to be prepared to help others. For if a man is broke, he can do little to financially help others. Jesus never said that the wealthy should give their money to the government and let the government decide who deserves it.

The point I'm making is that Black is mocking the poor. If he's going to imply that anyone who doesn't invest their money/have enough money to invest is evil, then he's ignoring a great deal of Jesus' message.

I love America, That is a very impressive list.

Kilgore, What point are you trying to make? Wealthy people give to good causes than most people. It is known that Conservatives give more than Liberals.

Most religious people don't give 10% of their wealth but expect to get in heaven because they are good Christians. I believe Beck is a Christian in his own mind and he lets viewers know how he see things and most other news program never say anything good about religion.

When I watch Beck I believe everything he says but the next night I watch the other stations and hear all the things he left out and twisted. I am not a gullible person but he is very persuasive so he is able to convince people to believe him. People that watch his show I would ask if you also watch some of the other news programs to see the light. More than likely no. I like to see and read both sides of things and then make up my own mind. I will admit that Beck's show is more interesting than the others programs. He is a great speaker and speaks from his heart and he knows what he is doing. He is great at what he does entertaining people.

To date (07/12/10), here is the full list of sponsors that have either pulled ads from or taken proactive measures to ensure that their ads do not appear on the Glenn Beck Program in the United States, the U.K., or both: http://stopbeck.com/dropped-sponsors/ After advertisers flee, Glenn Becks show in the U.K. ran without ads for 4 months.

About that is left are the gold scammers who sell gold at a price way above their comipetion.

Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny.
43Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.

17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. 19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. 20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. 21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. 22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. 23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

As far as those quotes Alleh_haptism, what is to disagree with them?

The Micheal Moore quote you gotta agree with, who hasn't wanted to strangle Micheal Moore? Do you not understand hyperbole?

The 9-11 "family" wasn't just any 9-11 families but certain progressive liberal ones who merely were seeking face time as a political ax against George Bush. Yeah it was like shut up already.

Katrina? Need I say more? Goodness, how many scum bags did we have to see on TV, with the rioting and looting and cops taking part in the rioting and looting and smashing little old ladies who dare possess a revolver to protect herself from the cops who were looting. The one's who got all the attention were the vermin. He was right.

And lastly, most the aristocracy of Commiefornia with their celebrity multimillion dollars homes burning in the valley really do hate America. You do realize he was talking about Hollywood celebrities and not middle class families don't you? How many celebrities do we need to here bash America and support Castro or Chavez? It is disgusting.

So instead of quoting Beck who has a flare for description out of context, try and actually watch the man and here the discussion that it is relevant to. It is quite obvious you just got the quotes from a progressive bastion like the Huffington Post or something.

It's good to know that your net worth is ZERO, Grandpa. Yeah, Christians wouldn't do anything like invest in gold. The Bible actually tells us that investment is a good thing. And it is evil not to invest. Jesus expects us to get a return on the gifts, including financial gifts, that he gave us. I find it amusing how some people without a basic understand of Biblical principals, tell others what the Christian thing to do is. Glen Beck is very upfront that he believes gold will increase in value and that other markets are at risk for losing value. Therefore he expects to return to the one who gave him his talents with more talents then he was given. What do you expect to get as a return on your social security check? How are you going to give back?

I would stongly encourage all you Glenn Beck detractors to join him, and his supporters up in Washington DC Aug. 28 (at the Lincoln Memorial).

Quite obviously you are under false impressions of the man. First-hand experience would go a long way to disprove many of the lies being told in desperation, by the left-wing media/bloggers.

Oh Oh I have one I have one!

I mean, lets face it, we didnt have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: slavery built the South. Im not saying we should bring it back; Im just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark.

"I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. ... No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out. Is this wrong? I stopped wearing my What Would Jesus -- band -- Do, and I've lost all sense of right and wrong now. I used to be able to say, 'Yeah, I'd kill Michael Moore,' and then I'd see the little band: What Would Jesus Do? And then I'd realize, 'Oh, you wouldn't kill Michael Moore. Or at least you wouldn't choke him to death.' And you know, well, I'm not sure." responding to the question "What would people do for $50 million?"

Real stable guy can you feel the love here?

"When I see a 9/11 victim family on television, or whatever, I'm just like, 'Oh shut up' I'm so sick of them because they're always complaining." "The Glenn Beck Program," Sept. 9, 2005

Just upstanding.

"The only [Katrina victims] we're seeing on television are the scumbags." "The Glenn Beck Program," Sept. 9, 2005

Great guy.

. "I think there is a handful of people who hate America. Unfortunately for them, a lot of them are losing their homes in a forest fire today." on why people who lost their homes in forest fires in California had it coming, "The Glenn Beck Program," Oct. 22, 2007

A real Christian.

"You know, we all have our inner demons. I, for one I can't speak for you, but I'm on the verge of moral collapse at any time. It can happen by the end of the show." "The Glenn Beck Program," Nov. 6, 2006

I think it already happened years ago Beck.

>-.- Decent human being? This is a joke, right?

Not to the people who adore Beck's brand of nastiness but don't want to admit that they're not always all that decent themselves.

> It really is immoral and wrong to spread rumors about someone.

I agree. And if Beck didn't engage in this practice himself, the in-exceedingly-poor-taste meme about him would never have made the rounds. Granted, two wrongs don't make a right, but you know what they say about karma. . .

Did Beck ever apologize to the woman he mocked on air for having suffered a miscarriage? It would have been the decent thing to do.

Prank you could use a good bit of Christianity. It really is immoral and wrong to spread rumors about someone. You know you or someone like you with a malice for Beck and no evidence of crime started this rumour. It is obvious that you know nothing about love. Poor Prank.

You won't feel any Christian love oozing from me, because Christian love comes with it's own conditions. I was always taught love is unconditional.

So, nice try in putting your religious beliefs on me, but I'll pass from being in the cult that doesn't believe dinosaurs existed and that Noah really put two of every single species on Earth in a wooden boat.

Wow Shoeshine, I could've swore you knew how to read and comprehend.

"In fact, if I wanted to learn how to rape and kill a girl I met in 1990, Glenn is the person I would speak with."

Notice the word if. It means in the case of, or on the condition of. There's a rumor going around Glenn committed such actions in 1990. I hope he really didn't, but by now, I'm sure he is the subject matter expert on how to do such a thing.

Nice try though.

I can feel the Christian love just oozing from Prank, Grandpa and Rented Costume. Like Prank says they do not judge a man and call him good. They are non judgemental. Wow, Prank, I had my suspicions about you but I didn't know that your were admittedly a murderer and a rapist.
