For The Non-Believers....Do Correct Me, If This Wasn't God, What Was It?

My hope, was for people who admittedly didn't believe in God to tell me their take on this situation, from their perspective. To enlighten me with what they thought.

See? If you give all the glory to God for this one, you sorta stay stuck in that codependent pit. Get yourself strong, girl. You can do it. We are all rooting for ya!

Granted Irish stuck it out there but I am not sure she was sticking out there to get some of these replies. Several of you are asking for tolerances for yourself and your beliefs but then again you're very intolerant to others and their beliefs and ways of life. Why?

Why dig at every chance and then ask for people to be tolerant to your beliefs? Believe it or not words do hurt and words that might not bother you might bother someone else! They may consider you bullying them just by comments you've made and what if that person did something bad? How would you feel then if you knew that you caused them to harm themselves? How?

GoWilkes never fails to entertain but it also never fails to cause someone hurt feelings. Really for no reason other than someone can sit back and say mean, hateful and spiteful things to someone else without ever having to really answer for it.

We all do it, we all do it and that's just a fact and really when it comes down to it, who does it really hurt? It hurts us! We do it to ourselves!

Thank you Goddess, now there is an explanation. I wasn't aware I possessed such things. Being co-dependent for so long, I didn't need to have any because I had someone else always looking out for me and taking care of stuff like that.

There Is NO reason for children to be crushed to death because religious cemetaries are exempt from any kind of safety inspection. There Is No reason for children to be left to die in closed cars on hot days. There Is NO reason for children to die because of guns carelessly left laying about. There Is NO reason for children to be molested or beaten to death either by strangers or family members.

To say otherwise is a copout to some badly imagined grand design in the scheme of things.

and just maybe the guy who did not get on the plane...could have saved all the rest who perished...by getting on the plane!

You just never know...

I am not complaining, I just think people could have said there peace without being *** about it.

Not to mention the arrogance of the thought of divine intervention. Think about it this way. Say there is a guy waiting to get on a plane and all of a sudden he gets a vibe and thinks, hmmmm. I am not going to get on that plane. He thinks God is telling him not to. So he does not get on the plane and the plane crashes and burns killing hundreds of people aboard. So he goes around praising God for saving him. Well, about the other people. Who the hades does he think he is?

That's why I stated previously that my answer may not qualify...but, here's my take...

I believe that it was just your higher self kicking in...that sorta survival skill consciousness letting you know that there is or could have been something wrong with your vehicle...

don't underestimate yourself...intuition is a mighty powerful tool...it would behoove everyone to practice tuning up their personal intuition skills.

Everything happens for a reason. People die, horrible things happen. I've had HORRIBLE things happen to me all my life and I didn't blame God for letting it happen. It made me stronger.

Actually, you did ask to be corrected, have been, and now you are complaining because people think you are a bit nuts? It's a machine.

Irishqueen,

I'm admittedly very intolerant of "god" threads. But let me ask you...If "god" looked out for people here on earth would said omnipotent being not look out for innocent children who get crushed to death on their property?

The tittle of the post that is.

I hear you there Goddess! I just wanted someone to explain to me, who doesn't believe, what they thought it was.

I would like to point out to the op that her post comes off as a little condescending in her wording.

I am not upset as you put it, but I guess I expected too much when I thought ADULTS would behave in a manner that reflected that they were in fact adults.

Corrected? Maybe opinions being offered without being bashed would be more of what I was seeking.
Irish, Irish, Irish....how many years have you been on gowilkes...you should know better by now...you gonna get it all when asking to be corrected or asking for opinions on here!

IRISHICEQUEEN

Posted 10:12 am, 07/09/2012

Ken, I don't think I ever referred to this as a real miracle. I simply meant that God was looking out for me. People can have differences of opinions without being ****s about it!
