Isopropyl alcohol vapor is denser than air and is flammable, with a flammability range of between 2 and 12.7% in air. It should be kept away from heat and open flame. 20 mule team borax works well also but the kittens might need meds and/or ointments from the vet.

Vacuum clean the carpets everyday for about a week...%99 of fleas live in the carpet.

Spray rubbing alcohol EVERYWHERE! Then leave to go somewhere for a couple hours until the fumes fade. We had this problem once and we tried the bombs, the salt/baking soda, vacuuming all the time, etc. Then we thought of this and it nipped it! It's cheap and effective, but be prepared for cramps in your hand!
