"Why can't schools go back to teaching finance in high school like the schools up North"

Amen and aman!!!

Never go in debt with money that you don't earn!!! If you don't have the income through a job don't use a card that you are hoping that child support will make the payment. Some people don't use the brain. Why can't schools go back to teaching finance in high school like the schools up North!

Stop your begging and if your income isn't enough to pay your bills then find an extra job to make the difference.

I hope you have a lawyer. Take your ex to court for child support.

Heck, from what I've read on here, there is barely any agencies that have the means to help keep utilities turned on. I doubt there's anyone to help with credit cards.

If they are high interest, maybe you could open one with a lower interest rate and use it to pay off the others...then cut up the other ones. I suppose that's robbing Peter to pay Paul, but sometimes you gotta do whatcha gotta do.

This is a serious reply....Never blame current debt on someone who is not there. You have to pay your own bills now. If it is credit card debt that the x charged on a joint account, sue him or her, If you charged the debt, pay the debt and do not diss someone that did not slide the card.

Your best bet is to talk to the credit card companies. Sometimes they may be willing to adjust payment amounts. That way is more of a long term solution then getting payment money this month and having to worry about next month.
