That was not what I said. Your argument said that you collect them, I said that was not the original purpose.
Gun are specifically manufactured to kill, to shoot things/people/animals.
That's a fact. Whether you do or not is not the point.

People collect bells as well but they were manufactured to ring, not to sit and collect dust.
People collect stamps and they are made to use as postage.
No matter what your use of a gun may be, they are manufactured for a specific purpose and that's to kill.

My point is firearms are not made for killing, they have other purposes and uses (collectors items, target shooting etc.) both are a tool, the hammer doesn't build the deck itself and the firearm does not kill anyone itself, it depends on the hands that carry them. The FBI stats prove that you do not have to use a firearm to kill another person.
