Is there a difference between government censorship and a private corporation removing a user based on speech? Is there a difference between political speech and deliberate misinformation?

there are protected classes. i agree with those.
However, if a member of one of those protected classes engages in disruptive behavior in my business, I should have the right to keep them out.
I don't agree with the rabid liberalism of their platform, nor would I support extreme, hateful conservatism.

I think it's funny how Christians have been championing censorship for basically the last 200 years and now all the sudden it's only the left that wants censorship? The same folks screaming about this are probably the same ones calling radio stations telling them not to play the Dixie chicks or trying to get Harry Potter banned from the library. Also, how about we look up the history of banned books in America? What kind of books are they?

There has always been restrictions on certain speech. No, you can't just say whatever you feel like saying. Whining about the left being anti-American for supporting some restrictions is absurd.

At one time businesses also had the right to refuse service based on skin color. What's the difference of refusing service based on political opinion?
My issue though isn't with social media platforms taking this approach. It's with all the tools that think censorship is a good idea. That's the scary part

Look, I don't care for politics. But if I start a platform, I reserve the right to ban anybody I want to for whatever reason I choose to.
