I did not know this , there needs to be some kind of qualifications . Someone with a 500 credit score shouldn't be making million dollar decisions. Or a felon overseeing the sheriffs office.

A few years ago, I remember we had a convicted felon running for Sheriff. And he could have won! He couldn't legally hold a firearm, but could have been Sheriff

County officials need some kind of requirements . Credit score , no felony's, business license / degree, etc.

Are there any official requirements to run for elected office? If not should there be ? Like to run for a judge you have to be a lawyer .
