If you really were Protestant (not just Protestant in the sense of I'm no Catholic) you would understand the doctrine of Sola Scriptura. We hold to "Scripture Alone." Not Scripture plus tradition. Michael, you do not demonstrate any working knowledge of these things. You decided that, for whatever reason (maybe someone hurt you in a church I do not know), you left the church and started your own religion. Thus elevating your tradition above scripture.

Again, you keep going back to Catholicism. The Roman Catholic Church did NOT make a "change" to Sunday worship. Your buddy on here tried to say that he has Catholic sources saying that they did...well of course the Catholic Church will claim to be Apostolic. But they did not come into being, nor did the Bishop of Rome have any greater authority than any other bishops until hundreds of years after Christ. Corporate worship on the first day of the week was a common practice in scripture. It was on the first day of the week, while John was worshipping on Patmos that Christ came and gave him the Revelation.
And you are right. Protestant (mainly of the Reformed traditions) hold to the Regulative Principle of Worship. The only things permitted in corporate worship are those things expressly commanded in scripture. It is the reason why there is a debate about observing holidays in the church as part of worship. Michael, I assume you have had very little interaction with serious Christianity. It seems that you have little knowledge or understanding of what we actually believe.

It comes down to who do you follow. Jesus says those that want to Receive Eternal Life is to follow him and His Words. So if you have Faith in Jesus you would not be led away from JESUS by mans traditions.. Jesus gives choices. Satan did the samething to the Hebrews buying and selling on the Sabbath Day... Every Holy days of Christianity is of the Catholic Christian Traditions. Jesus says In VAIN you worship holding traditions above the commandments o f God. Michael, again, you miss the point. Christians do not see these days as "holy days." Do we enjoy these days, yes. Do we see them as some sort of high holy day, no. Except for the first one. We do gather and worship on the first day of the week. A practice rooted in scripture. I have pointed out to you multiple times that worship on the first day of the week predates the Roman Catholic church and cannot be a product of Catholicism as you claim. By granting Catholics that, you are giving them more credibility than I, as a Protestant, would. The Roman Catholic church did not exist until the 4th Century.
