DJT closed a little higher at $50.92... still a dip from yesterday, but the afternoon recovery makes me think it was just a temporary dip and I should stay the course...

Gold might be OK for long holds, but it's really not too impressive. It peaked during COVID at $29.75, and it's down to $17.78 now. Even if I'd bought in when it hit $12.22 in 2019, it would only be a 45% gain in 5 years.
DJT has gone up 211% in the last 6 months...

The SEC banned Trump Media's former auditor for "massive fraud," and now the stock is dipping! Down to $49.77 today!
I don't know how long to hold on to it... whether to ride it out and wait for it to rebound, or whether short sellers will jump ship.

Marijuana is being reclassified as a schedule 3 on the federal level. It won't change anything at the state level but, it does give the banks a go ahead to get involved in the weed business. I'm going to invest in a few weed stocks for long term holds and see what happens.
Sold my GME Tuesday. I had only been holding them for a few weeks. Had an average of 11.22 and sold at 55 and change. After the first couple halts, I knew what was up so, I sold.

That's not quite right... he can't cash out until September, so he hasn't actually made any money on it yet. The value today is irrelevant to him, all he cares about is the value in September.

I've just been pondering that thought process.
Since seeing several media outlet articles. On first California and the other states.
That followed suit soon after. The $ numbers are crazy in the revenue.
That any state could surely. Put to good use.
It's gonna happen sooner or later. The "co-blockers" per say are aging out.
That's just a stone cold fact.

The short interest in AMC is nearing the same highs as January and June 2021. Regulations are changing in the CAT system at the end of this month. It will affect the time allowance for failure to delivers (FTD's) which these meme stocks have a lot of. It may force some hedge funds to buy back their short shares for a squeeze. Tomorrow, they will short it down to kill all options. Maybe next week it will pick back up.

Been holding AMC since Jan 21. Will not sell until all shorted shares are bought back. The hedge funds made a bad bet. Someday, they will have to pay up, close shorts and go long. I'm in no hurry to sell. Fundamentals are looking up for AMC so bankruptcy is off the table. The Hollywood strike 🙄, messed us up a little but the rest of 24 is booming with good movies. I think the last quarter of this year will have a good earnings report. I think 2025 and into 2026 will be good for AMC.

Ohhh, I hope this is the beginning of the end for all those hedge funds who have been heavily naked shorting our "free" stock market. Both of my AMC and GME are flying. Meme stock season and Roaring Kitty is back. It's going to be a good day/week.

You're absolutely right! We all know that this is nothing but criminal money. But there's nothing we can do about it, so might as well get in on the action while we can!
Better sale it now...I can't imagine what it'll do when trump starts being found guilty for his crimes. As expected, 3 of Trump's 4 criminal trials are delayed indefinitely, in part thanks to the help of his hand-selected Supreme Court...
In the end, none of it really matters. No one cared about him committing sexual assault, even against children. Nobody cared when he raped a woman. And nobody cares about him committing fraud. He could be convicted of every bit of it and it just wouldn't matter.
So I'm going to ride this gravy train until September, and cash out just before Trump does.

Anti, without Trump's cult, his stock wouldn't exist by now. One projection I saw guesstimates the value to drop to $2. With participation in decline and investors losing interest, the only thing left is described as a "bubble." Soon to pop.

This has been a bad week for my portfolio, it's dropped almost 10% this week!! The big surprise is still the marijuana ETF... after the news came out about the DEA reclassifying it I thought it would skyrocket! But no, it's down today, too.
DJT is still going strong, at least that was a good move. But now I'm thinking... since Trump can cash out on September 25, I might sell on September 20 instead of November.
