Crime Prevention in Wilkes

I see that the county budget only gives $20,000 a year to the Sheriff's office for crime prevention.

I can't imagine what they could possibly do with that low of an amount... a single part time employee, maybe?

Considering all of the crime we have in Wilkes, do you think that this is anywhere near enough?
