Our sources said the Go feller claims he don't keep up with IP addresses no more since some high profile legal s*** came up in Yadkin. Can you verify, o hawt Go feller or is such another Wilkes Co rumor also?

Well if you are in any job and you spend and use your money wisely over time that doesn't mean you are corrupt it just means you made good decisions.
I am sure there are stories of back in the bootlegging days of corrupt sheriffs, but I have not heard anything like that about the last three Sheriffs.
Most of the rumors have been related to Elected Board Members or Judicial Officials.

There were always rumors about sheriffs being paid off by drug dealers and bootleggers. Didn't a former police chief get charged a few years back with physical abuse allegations?

Whew now that Stoney Greene has been exposed, what are the rumors of other elected officials in Wilkes?
I have heard of tales of murder, drugs, gambling, misuse of grant money, corrupt judges, and prosecutors.
These stories seems to go back nearly 30 years.
