I think you can call BROCK on 268 and they do help with Christmas. too , i don't know if it's to late already but hopefully they can lead you in a direction ..Good Luck !! (Still pm me ) !

I know it's hard for a mother with 3 children to get a job , and it's so close to christmas .But i would love to help you with a couple toys for the kid's ..pm me and i will give you my # and we can talk more about getting Christmas presents for the 2 older ones .sometimes people really do need help , and not just handouts , Christmas is for giving ,

People can say what they want but all I wanted to know is if there are any organizations that help. I knew people would say negative things because no matter what is posted on go wilkes there are people who are gonna say negative things. But the nice helpful people are such a blessing.

That's a great idea ivy.
If anyone has any gentley used toys and you were planning on taking them to the goodwill, etc.
Why not give a smile to a child's face this Christmas.
Sorry, your having a hard time man, this is a hard time of year to score a job.

I have a 7 yr old son and a lil girl who will be 4 in Dec. I also have a 3 mnth old grl that I didnt mentio because she wldnt know the diffrence about christmas.

Also, Christmas tree farms are hiring for extra help.
Its nothing permanent, but could help out w/Christmas. The only thing that sucks is you would have to drive out of Wilkes for the work.

I think most of the organizations that help w/Christmas in wilkes have already stopped.
But its worth a shot to call and explain your situation, as they may help you anyway.
A lot of local churches are pretty understanding and are willing to help you out, the worst they can say is no, right...try these. Broc 667-7174 (speak w/Karen, she does the Xmas, very kind person).
Ministry of hope 903-1414( they did the toy store in Wilkes). Peace haven 838-8871...considering you lost your job these places can help w/food too...I see a lot of great stuff here on gowilkes in the toy section too.
What would be great, is if anyone who has toys in good shape and want to give them to a child for Christmas, here's your chance. Come on guys get in the Christmas spirit!!
