They wouldnt give me another 30day tag but give me a rental to drive until the title comes in

Real car dealers know better than to pull this stunt. Tell them you either want your CLEAR title OR a refund and return the car in one week or you will start making phone calls to the state. What they have done will not sit well with the licensing agency that issued their dealer license and allow them to issue 30 day tags.

They can't sell you a car or truck without a title. You can easily get them to get this straight.
Tell them you want another 30 day tag and a tag from now on until you get your title.
Else you'll seek a lawyer and sue them because they're forcing you to act.
Stand your ground and make everyone aware of who they are.
You should also have a copy of your bill of sale.
Make sure you have all your receipts and then let them know if they do not settle this in the next 30 days you will seek legal actions against them. NC will back you Up.

when i bought the car they was no pay off on the car, but after i called about the tag was when i learned that they was a payoff on the car and thats why the tag had not came in, any info would be great.

I would like some info on what i should do, i had bought a car from a dealership, that did not have the title to the car when i bought it, i was unaware of this until my 30day tag ran out, a week or 2 b4 my tag ran out i had called them asking about the tag, they kept telling me it should be here b4 to long, well it never came and when my tag ran out, i called back and thats when i found out, that they didnt have the title to begin with, told me they was nothing they can do until march, thats when it will come in. What should i do now, i have a car sitn out here that i have to pay for and cannot drive. Is it even legal for a dealership to sale a car without the title. Any info would be great.
