Can you work and still draw disability?

empowers

Heard that if you draw disability you can still work 20 hours a week. Is this true? And if it is true some of these people drawing disability in assisted living centers and nursing homes could be very useful in that they could do some of the work that needs to be done. As well as helping out the owner in these financially trying times, it would also help the patient to have a purpose and to feel useful, instead of sitting around twiddling their thumbs. A type of therapy if you want to call it that. Of course there would be limitations on what some patients could do but working slowly into responsibility could be just what the doctor ordered to help them to recover or to experience dignity and purpose again.
