Che (view profile) | My bad attitude? You're the one that came on here implying the Ruritans were a bunch of rent-gouging money hungry, less than reputable group. You've done nothing but criticize and make unfounded accusations about their practices since the beginning. If you had gone to their website you would have read.... "The Brushy Mountain Apple Festival is an event owned, organized and operated by the Brushy Mountain Ruritan Club." It's the FIRST paragraph on the home page. The Nation Ruritans Club logo is even above the first paragraph in bold color. A simple Google search of "Ruritans" would have saved you a trip to gowilkes.
So go ahead and continue criticizing the Ruritans. I'm sure that'll get you to the head of the line with their teenage staffers manning their phone banks lol.

Well excuse me, someone pissy mood.I would guess either participating in this or that fact that some us do not know nor care hardly what their name is.So in all curtsey go **** yourself, I assumed and still have been told it ran by the town. Well I have been trying hun, I started out early and realized I been making a lot of these and still am,but I haven't had any luck in getting the proper information. I think they got someone new behind the desk that doesn't know what to do or one them goofy *** teens who are on phone all the time rather then worked at what they was assigned for.

Che (view profile) Posted 3:40 pm, 08/01/2015 Non commercial are Churches and civic organizations, or other "non for profit" entities, that use vendor space to raise money for their nonprofits.
If you're selling to gain a personal profit, that's "commercial"
Thanks for clearing that up, I was just guessing.

"I don't see how the person is going to make profit then if they're paying $$350, I guess that explains the huge prices on food and merchandise. That's pretty much the only way I see you can."
Rose, they can make a profit, by selling in volume...there is a huge crowd that attends the Apple Festival
You would just have to make sure you have enough product to sell...without running out. Plus you need to have samples and photos available of the work you've already done...and sold, as there might be the off chance that you can take orders. Business cards also would benefit your endeavor...VistaPrint is fairly cheap to get these cards from.
I'm not sure what you have in mind for the Apple Festival...but hopefully you haven't waited to late.

I've had the thought of making a confederate battle flag quilt but I still need some more material, if someone asked me I would be glad to make one. I don't see a confederate flag as racial I see it as the heritage of our state and history of the battle flag for those who died for it and died with honor.

Che (view profile) | Then don't participate. You're not owed a spot and no one is forcing you take part nor attend the festival
|
You know Che, your so full **** that I can bet you one them idiots who looks himself in the mirror and thinks he's all that. I will participate but I will do it in fair way.So keep your pissy poor attitude and comments to yourself cause know cares about you. At least half the folks in this site have a better attitude then you.Why in fact you attitude is so pissy that you'll not make 1 dime off kinda personality other then you hand you screw yourself with for company.I'd give saw but I'm afraid it doesn't the luxury or choice to detach itself from a mindless person who can't use it brain to show manners let alone curtsey.

Truthseeker911 (view profile) | 150.00 for non commercial. I wouldn't think you qualify as a commercial enterprise. A place like Waggles setting up a booth would be a commercial vendor. Just a guess though.
|
aaaahhh so the non commercial is something for those who do not own like say a store or something?More like a, well the best guess I can credit is similar to a yard sale correct?

Well they don't exactly show that on the apple festival blog now do they che. At least haven't found it. I have the right to know you can he **** all you want but when I need information they need quit dodging the most obvious of questions. I don't know who is running by desk this year but they have done very poor job of it. I think your taking it a little to crude to be bad mouthing off at me.But then again I'm sure melody square would be more then happy to accommodate me the information while giving me a list of fees like Bestill just showed.

I'm only asking Che, and what the non commercial, what that mean? Where does the charity go too? I'd like know where my money is going before I actually give it to them. I don't trust them anymore then I trust my neighbor. You can't be to careful when sometimes fake charity can sometimes be a money making scheme.

Because they're using the fees to raise money for charity. Hey, if you think it's too high, they're plenty of vendors willing to pay it.
