Yes and no. The "more than two year pause in legal immigration" that "contributed to labor shortages" obviously has a long lasting impact... Biden can't just magically bring people in and build houses overnight.

And, of course, there's an added bonus that a lot of people saw this as an opportunity, buying up as much property as they could during COVID when people were desperate and now they're selling it for a premium. That's just capitalism.

Let me explain what year over year means. Simply from last year this time to this year this time. And last year this time Biden had been in office for two years. So any sane person must conclude Biden owns this 6% inflationary year over year move in home prices.

3. Trump's failed tariff war against China
