Biden spent taxpayer funds meant to enhance border security to further its environmental agenda

As usual, this is incorrect.

From the article...

In 2021, DHS released a report detailing how it would look to redirect funds meant for the wall to instead pay for things like "environmental planning," reviewing upcoming eminent domain actions and considering environmental remediation efforts in areas that had been the site of previous construction, according to GAO's report.

Determining the environmental impact of a border wall isn't furthering an environmental agenda, it's just... common sense.

And it makes sense when you learn about the environmental impact that it already had...

Hundreds of miles of wall have been built across protected public lands, communities, and sovereign Tribal nations. These barriers cut through sensitive ecosystems, destroy thousands of acres of habitat, impede the cross-border migration of dozens of animal species, cause catastrophic flooding, and separate families.

Tell the full story DB, that is not at all what the article states.

The Biden administration spent taxpayer dollars meant to fund a border wall to pay for "environmental planning," according to a new report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

Republicans on the House Budget Committee, including Bergman and Arrington, characterized the GAO's finding as confirmation that the Biden administration has spent taxpayer funds meant to enhance border security to further its environmental agenda.
