so, if the internet is how we as humans communicate today, and it is not to be trusted. and books and the written language is how humans communicate in the past, does this mean we cant trust everything written in books? lol

Ah, come on, if it's in print it has to be true, don't it? Just like if someone stands up and tells it on the TV it has to be true, don't it? You can't say or print lies, it'll get'cha in trouble, won't it?

Consider reality. Laws are created to protect the haves from the have nots. The function of our police force is to protect property and to make sure unworthy people don't accumulate property. Politicians are elected by our votes, counted by god know who, influence by ads paid for by billionaires and presented by a media owned by these same billionaires. Do you actually believe these billionaires are going to take a chance that someone will be elected that will harm their wealth? You believe your vote elects politicians, you believe these politicians are working for you. Now, ask yourself, how do you come to these conclusions? You come to this belief through information from politicians and the media. Lies and truths in the form of propaganda place on 30 sec ads and the nightly news.

I understood your post...but it makes it look as if, the government itself is the propagandist...you're pretty good at that.

1goddress, I never said that. Reread my post. I said our enemies use propaganda to manipulate us into acting against our government with both truths and lies. I said all government is about control, which they are. However, I never said that their control was harmful to their citizens. Only that a good propagandist can make their control look like they are acting against us.

Eveyone should watch the David Mamet film: "Wag the Dog". DeNiro and Hoffman portray PR pros who specialize in manipulating the media for political ends.

I'd venture that technology changes since the film was made, make that kind of fraud much more pervasive today. Crooks like Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett, David Axlerod, and a small army of equally corrupt puppet masters operating with impunity these days.

The title of this thread does provoke a bit of thought...

Any one in the world can post on any site in the USA. There is not a better play ground for a trained propagandist to operate. Terrorism is random attacks to create a controlled response. A propagandist has two tools, lies and truths. Either one of these tools can bring down an empire if properly used. All that has to be done is to place a seed of an idea into the minds of the people. All government is about control and all people resent being controlled. All a good propagandist has to do is plant the idea into the minds of the people that their government is abusing it's control and nature will take it's course.
