shag, that's in effect what I've been trying to say all along... but Wilbur Alonzo will tell you otherwise. With all of the hate in the world, and war, and poverty, and drugs, and flaws in our school systems, and neglect of our elderly... so many people are worried about how two people love each other? So many millions of dollars are spent to keep me and my spouse from marrying when so many more important issues slide by unnoticed and ignored? Where are some people's priorities? Is my marriage more important than these more pressing issues? NO. Stop wasting your money, stop wasting mine. Start making this country better and more strong. The gays aren't making it weak, the haters are. Focus on things that matter. My marriage is so important to me, as yours should be to you, but my marriage should be the last thing on people's minds if they had their priorities straight.

I've been reading the headline news from the U.S. and around the world tonight. The one thing that jumped out at me is more people seem to get all tore up inside over a persons sexuality but they do not bat an eye at all of the murders drugs abuses of government power etc. I wish all murderers drug dealers and crooked politicians were gay so people would take notice. Shouldn't it be the other way around? I quit worrying about who wants to marry who so maybe if someone as rightwing as myself can let it go then everyone else will follow suit.

Wilbur Alonzo. I sincerely hope you tire of yourself soon. Your posts almost put me and the rest of us with common sense in a coma. You really are nonsensical. You should read your own posts sometimes... specially if you're feeling down and you need a good laugh.

Then, there's this...

"Not gay enough?"

Three bisexual men are suing a national gay-athletic organization, saying they were discriminated against during the Gay Softball World Series held in the Seattle area two years ago.

The three Bay Area men say the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance in essence deemed them not gay enough to participate in the series.

The lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Seattle accuses the alliance of violating Washington state laws barring discrimination. The alliance organizes the annual Gay Softball World Series.

Beth Allen, the alliance's attorney, said the lawsuit is unwarranted and that the three plaintiffs "were not discriminated against in any unlawful manner."

In any case, Allen said, the alliance is a private organization and, as such, can determine its membership based on its goals.

The alliance's rules say that each World Series team can have no more than two heterosexual players. According to the lawsuit, a competing team accused D2 of violating that rule.

Each of the three plaintiffs was called into a conference room in front of more than 25 people, and was asked "personal and intrusive questions" about his sexual attractions and desires, purportedly to determine if the player was heterosexual or gay, the lawsuit alleges. The alliance has no category or definition for bisexual or transgender people in its rules, the plaintiff's attorney said.

At one point during the proceedings, the lawsuit alleges, one of the plaintiffs was told: "This is the Gay World Series, not the Bisexual World Series."

The alliance ruled the three men were "nongay," stripped D2 of its second-place finish and recommended that the three players be suspended from participating in the World Series for a year, according to the suit.

once again you've failed at the simple task of googleling any information that even an eight year old has access to.

"All New Yorkers are entitled to their own religious beliefs, but businesses cannot discriminate based on sexual orientation anymore than they can based on race or national origin," Hirose, lead counsel on the case, said in a statement.

no different than turning a interracial couple away.

shut up Wibur... when you can quote the same kind of articles multiplied by 1000 from the straight population, let's talk. If you have a room with only one window, then you only have one view. If you close the blinds on all the other windows and lead someone to look out the one you want them to, then gues what, it's the only view they will see and it will be the one you WANT them to see.

The straight population wins when it comes to frivolous lawsuits and demands. You picking out specific gay news articles is like picking one hair on a cat compared to the rest of the population. Give it up Mary. When you can explain all of the "demands" from your people, then we can talk about the baker's dozen demands from ours. Shut the F up. You scare and bore me.

From the "we're not forcing our lifestyle on anyone" file...

Owners of a family farm in Schaghticoke, New York, are being fined $13,000 for refusing to allow a gay wedding ceremony to take place on their property in 2012, just one year after the state legalized same-sex nuptials.

Cynthia and Robert Gifford, owners of Liberty Ridge Farm, a family-friendly farm and special events venue, told Jennifer McCarthy and Melisa Erwin, a lesbian couple from Newark, New Jersey, that they were welcome to hold their reception on the property, but not the actual wedding ceremony.

The Giffords live on the premises and these ceremonies are typically conducted on the first floor of their home or on the nearby property. Considering that they are Christians and consider marriage to be confined to relationships involving one man and one woman, the two weren't comfortable hosting McCathy and Erwin's nuptials.

An attorney for the couple told Religion News Service that the two have both employed gay staffers and hosted events for same-sex couples in the past, but that a gay wedding ceremony in their home was too close for comfort.

McCarthy and Erwin weren't happy with this rejection, so they took their complaint to the New York's Division of Human Rights, claiming that they were discriminated against as a result of their sexual orientation.

A judge subsequently ruled in their favor in the case New York State Division of Human Rights v. Liberty Ridge Farm, rejecting the Giffords' argument that the family owns a private business that is legally permitted to issue such refusals.
