I just looked at the website for American outlaw and got the feeling it is a gimick when I saw they have a drink recipe that is 2oz bourbon, 4 oz water, and add sugar to taste. That just says it tastes like crap

I haven't tried that one. I considered it once, but hadn't yet read or heard anything about it. Figured it was either good, or a gimik. Waiting until I find out something more about it before trying it.
