I'm not a bum...it was a mistake. Just making the point, you can't get out of having your power cut off by giving a sad story to the power man.

I'm lucky enough that the lines run straight in front of my house. This was 5-6 yrs ago I guess....so I'm not sure of the goings on then but girl it sure was a gonna go off!.....

Do they turn it off at the house? I figured that was done remotely. Dang, I'd hate to be the one ringing doorbells, letting people know I was there to turn off the power! Sounds dangerous.

OMG..... Thank you god. I'm almost in tears. The power company man just came. He learned of my MIL's problem. He said " I won't disconnect the power " he turned around, got in his truck and drove away. He did say the next man to come wouldn't let it go. We're blessed with another day of power, thanks to the great kindness of the power man.

Wouldn't it be dandy if all lined up with the moon and star's this way but behold it shall not! I messed up once and forgot to send a payment after a notice....ever do it, well I've done it. Twas the middle of winter it was, and cold enough to freeze the bawls off a monkey. Up drives Mr. Duke Power man himself......lord of all lords according to winds. It hit me like a freight train, oh fudgeeee I didn't send in that payment and he gave me all of 30 minutes to get that thing called into the Company while he went up the road to cut off another mans power. The POWER MAN has no magic potions nor is he able to make a connection on or off call like that....least not to my knowledge.

Right, and that makes it more apparent that the dog was kicked or stomped to get a compound fracture like that. She has posted on here that hubby beats her, so if he beats a human, common sense tells us he wouldn't hesitate to beat an animal.

Does channel 8 have a reporter that looks into stuff?

Does someone know how to get ahold of a news station out of Winston or Charlotte to tell the plight of these poor, poor people? Then it would all be documented on film and the reporter could get to the bottom of the multitude of issues with the elder abuse, animal abuse, the raw sewage, drag racing, etc.

I'm really confused now. This thread was started on July 19. But I just saw a post on Facebook from July 18 where she said the light bill was being paid. winds why do you two even need a car...neither of you have a job you have to drive to and you live close enough to stores and supermarket that you could walk. Oh wait...you need one to drive to the animal shelter to get more pets to abuse and to take them to the groomers and then to the vets after you have abused them.
