*TORNADO/STORM WARNING SIRENS.
I've said this multiple times.here and in person.
With the uptick in Tornadic storms. Here as of recent an EF1 tornado.
Was confirmed by the NWS Blacksburg. That impacted our eastern Wilkes communities.
Rhonda,Roaring River.Also strongly suspected EF1.
In the Mulberry and Traphill Communities.
From my casual ask around and such.
They cost around $6,000.00
Surplus old Air Raid sirens.
We have ZERO in our communities-.
May we PLEASE look into it? At LEAST 4 strategically place.
Let's not wait neighbors until some is killed or seriously injured.
