Jesus did say that not one joy or title would fail of the law, indicating a written account of scripture.
Paul noted that his messages were in written form and should be read in the churches.
Peter referenced Paul's writings as Scripture.

God hasn't told me to write the Bible.
It does tell me to honor the Father and Son. That I will do.
I do stand on TRUTH. It's all I got Jesus says to believe in him. I do. JESUS says to keep his words. I do. Jesus told me to love the Father. I do. I keep his words. I am his child he is my Father. I am to keep my Father's word because I love him. Go into all the world making Disciple and baptizing into the Father and Son and Holy Spirit.. NOT INTO THE CATHOLIC CHRISTIAN RELIGION

Michael, just a slight correction. the NT is 80% a quote and reference to the OT. Its not teaching something new. Its calling on people to repent. To that point you may agree however you want to then split hairs. You uphold Sabbath, good for you but not kosher as well as the other commandments. And, in so doing you are doing exactly what you say "Christians" are doing
