What kind of video connector does the back of you PC have on it? HDMI DVI VGA?

If the computer has HDMI connections then this will be your best bet. Hook one end of the HDMI to your computer and the other end to your TV. Make sure the TV is turned on and is on the HDMI channel. Then from your computer you will press and hold the Windows key *looks like a little flag on the bottom of the keyboard* and press the P key. Either choose projector only or choose duplicate. Projector only will make the TV the main screen and will black out your computer or duplicate will duplicate both images on both screens.

You can also use VGA connections which is the blue cables that most monitors use. Using HDMI will yield best results when it comes to quality. Also HDMI carries video and audio so you'll be able to use your TV speakers instead of the computers.

I'm trying to hook my puter to my HDTV, but lack the knowledge to do so. So far it looks like having a cord with 2 HDMI ends would be my best bet. ??? Any other way? I have all kinds of cords so was just wondering if something would work to connect the 2 without the 2 HDMI ends??? I know just enough to be dangerous.....so I need advice. Thanks!
