"you can't beat a good steak grilled over charcoal" AMEN!!!

Try this for a marinade, place steak in a large ziplok bag, add 1/2 can (+/-) of beer of choice, place in refrigerator and marinate at least two hrs. or overnight.

You cannot believe how good this is until you've tried it!!!

I turn mine frequently once they start browning because I like them done all the way through and not burned up on the outside. Take care to move them away from the flame if grease gets to burning on your charcoal. You can't beat a good steak grilled over charcoal.

Thanks bushman! I havent decided it I am going to try it today or not, it still looks like it may rain some more here. Hopefully I will get to fix them tomorrow. I just cant bring myself to eat rare meat. I like it med-well most of the time. I can handle med as long as the blood isnt running out of it when I cut it. When I see the blood then Im done for lol.

Try this
Have the steaks out of frig for 10 minutes before grilling. They cook better ..
Rub the meat with Worcestershire sauce ,then salt and black pepper .
Grill over the coals on a hot grill don't turn so much.
Most times 1 turn is enough ,just peek under the corner till you decide to turn .Cooking time will depend on thickness and temp of grill.
Cook till you like it ,be it rare (my favorite) or well done.
Serve and enjoy.Hope this helps.

I bought some thick T-bones at FL today and I would love to fix them on our charcoal grill. I havent ever cooked anything other than burgers and hot dogs. Can someone please give me some pointers??? I dont know if I am supposed to put it directly over the coals, I dont know if I should season it or anything, I am clueless!
