I don't know a lot about flat screen TV's as to which brands are better. I bought another Vizio in 2008 that is still working great. The one that died on me was a Sylvania, approx. same age as the Vizio (bought it used year ago). Maybe we need to start a new thread about technology shopping for the holidays? That would be interesting and informative.

I didn't have a problem because of the paper printout because they went online to verify. The 499.99 price was on Tigerdirect.com and Walmart.com. Here is the reason I hurried to buy last night. The Tiger Direct sale price ended at midnight last night. It's now 649.99
Bottom line, I saved about 60 bucks after gas. I'm a homebody so time is not an issue for me (enjoyed getting out of the house) and I'm watching football on my TV right now. :)
