It's true, Bush Jr. really put us in a mess by increasing the debt by more than all previous presidents combined.

At least right now, the debt is growing at a much slower rate; $1.8 billion a day, as opposed to the $3.78 billion a day that Bush Jr was increasing it.

What are you worried about for. You are not working so you won't have to pay anything.

So if the national debt is 14.3 trillion dollars... we are about 8,497,771 years in debt....

I was wondering about that when I woke up this morning.

I'm Sleepie, They keep saying we're 14 Trillion in debt right? Who is it exactly do we owe this money too? Did any of you sign a loan? Did anyone of us get asked was it ok to borrow this supposed money? The government makes nothing, they have nothing to offer as a way of any type of product? What bank would be stupid enough to loan them money? The Fed? If the fed loaned them money on money the Fed borrowed then it's the Fed's problem. The Fed is not part of the government, it's a private bank according to all I've read. So if a Private Bank borrows money then why is it the tax payer is in debt? The government borrowed the money supposedly and without the permission of voters. If they borrowed the money without our permission then is the debt actually our debt?

Both Democrats and Republicans that have been placed in office have broken more laws than most of the people in jail and continue each day to do even more law breaking.

The Tea Party aint much better if you read between the lines.

About the only thing that is going to help us is if we force them to go back to common sense government and go back to following the laws.

Not you, I, nor anyone I know can count to 1 Trillion, or really even begin to know what a Trillion is. How else would anyone be able to comprehend how much debt America is in, or what 14 Trillion dollars is?

14 trillion dollars you mean the same thing as our GDP? You can't really grasp large numbers understandable.

Put this way if debt continues to pile up like it is now by the time you were able to count 1/4 of the way the amount would have tripled most likely so you and continuing through several generations could never count high enough in one life time to ever match he increasing amount of debt the USA will add every month and year.

The country would be gone and absorbed or changed into something else by time a future generation reached the final debt amount.

UNLESS the debt is brought under control and we learn to live on a balanced budget and get along with the rest of the world.

While this is a huge problem, that's a poor analogy. In this one rare scenario, time does not equal money.

You are right, but the problem is if we " The Tea Party" run our own political candidates right now, we wind up spilitting the Republican party, therefore making the Democratic party stronger. The Tea Party is not political party specific, and accept all people regardless of thier politics. We have some Democrats in our Tea Party meetings. We dont agree about everything, but we agree that our country is headed for disaster if we dont try to do something about it. Its just a fact that more Tea Party members are registered Republicans, and we will split the Republican vote if we have out own specific Tea Party candidate. Our thought is to back the Republican who best conforms to the Tea Party values of Conservative Honest American citizens until we are strong enough to have our own candidate.

Yeah, both parties are specialist in the 'Polyanna Creep'.

This is the reason the Tea Party appears to be the last hope for America. The Democrats will finish us off with their out of control spending and the GOP ain't much better.

These idiots who come on here continuously to bash the Tea Party need a lobotomy.
