You're missing the whole point. This is about treating women as equals. It's been legal for women to be topless in public since the 1930s, but women are trained to believe that we should be ashamed of our bodies. Why?

If women want to be considered equal, we shouldn't tolerate this m*sochistic society that makes us feel ashamed. And if men had any respect for women, they wouldn't treat us that way.

I took the whole family! It's really a fun event, but there's not as many topless women as you'd think. Most women are like me; we want to support women's rights, but don't want to be a spectacle.

There are a lot of hippies and drum circles, of course. And a lot of kids with video cameras.

The speakers made some great points, though. Why are we raising our female children to believe that they should be ashamed of their bodies, when the boys shouldn't?
