What if someone happens to move right at the same time as the elections. Should they be denied the right to vote because they haven't been able to get a new license yet, or say they get a new license and it doesn't match the address on file with voter registration?
Anyone have a solution to these scenarios?

That's one major reason I'm for a national ID that can be matched with records anywhere in the nation via an integrated computer system. This type of ID could be used for anything and everything requiring ID and eliminate all the others. Looks to me like the cost for it would be offset by all the other forms of ID used now, could be made to eliminate false IDs, all solve all the issues with people that have double residency or moving at election time. Also, people like me that travel could vote anywhere. There wouldn't be a need for absentee ballots, extended voting days, etc. The system would automatically pick up on deceased voters.

Of course the technology and computer program would have to be foolproof.

Social Security cards and numbers should not be used for id. With all the id theft around and with the numbers of places SS Ids are now required the requirement to show SS Id would just compound the problem,

FL sent me and my husband an absentee ballot. We have been registered in NC since 2010. I called FL to ask why they were sending this and can they remove our names. I spoke to a woman who sad she couldn't remove my name while acknowledging it was messed up we received the forms. She wanted me to sign it and end it back with a separate note sating we have moved. I'm not signing the blank from and sending it back to possibly be used fraudulently .

We have to show an ID for everything else so I think an ID for voting makes a lot sense!

The only way to stop or slow down the fraud is to require a photo ID at the voting place. Running around to churches and whipping up racial division is not how to run a country. Increasing the penalty for illegal voting and slapping about 10 years of prison time to it might slow it down a little. Those "community organizers" that are packing the ballot box with dead people, felons, or illegal aliens should get about 20 years. Either party

I'm not entirely opposed to voters having to present ID, but I think any ID should be okay, so long as it's a state or national ID. I don't think we should be made to get a special ID, and a regular ID should be fine for those of us who, like me, don't have a driver's license. My main concern is with the states that are restricting hours and places people can vote.

I'm thinking a national ID that uses eye recognition or some other high tech means to id someone, that can start at birth and last a lifetime.

And.....what do you have to say concerning your comment that "A CLAIM OF WIDESPREAD VOTER FRAUD IS A REPUBLICAN FOLLY"...in reference to the WIDESPREAD whining of voter fraud in the 2000 election concerning Florida?

Drivers License is for me every five years....for others depending on driving record...but that would be a good ID along with State ID' for voting...not sure if there is an expiration date on State ID's....

Gr8USofA

oKAY THEN...LET'S CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF THAT ARGUMENT...AND SEE IF IT CHANGES YOUR MISDIRECTED AND STUPID ACCUSATION!! So Jeb was accused of FABRICATIING the election by manipulating the black vote. The liberal left cried "voter fraud"!! Now what? And.....you didn't address the issue about your leftie buddy...Bill!! What now?
