To this day, my favorite parts of the parade are the Snoopy balloon and of course, SANTA!

I like all of it but when old Santa comes down 34th street and ushers in the Holiday Season is my favorite part. It brings out the youngen in me and I just can't help it.

My grandson will be in the Western Carolina band next year, hopefully, but they might never get to march in the parade again, They were very good today.

Do uns remember the Wilkes Central Marching Eagles Band in the Macy's Parade? It was from years gone by. The Marching Eagles made Wilkes look good. I also think the West Wilkes Marching Blackhawks and the East Wilkes Cardinals have also performed in same parade.
