However, I wish you the best in every area of your life. Peace.

Thank you, I wish you the best also.

As the woman at the well speaking of Christ said, John 4 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

1047- it's a rough crowd around this place, lol. You can't ever please everyone so just keep posting and hang in there. It could be that your posts are reaching someone that never even posts replies. Maybe you're an inspiration and you post a verse that person really needed to hear. Just because a handful doesn't agree with your delivery doesn't mean that you aren't serving a purpose.

1047, yes it could be splitting hairs. From my perspective, you appear to make assumptions about other posters' beliefs/faith/salvation based on their responses to your posts. I will also say that I think you use a fear-based model and I don't think it's the most effective one for every person. Many of us grew up with the punishment-avoidance model.....some of us stuck with it and some of us have found peace through another venue.

I have no reason to think that you are not a "good and worthy" person. But when posters offer responses that seem challenging, you sometimes resort to implying that they are not "saved." When the "messenger" is judgmental, it creates a situation that I don't think you intend.

However, I wish you the best in every area of your life. Peace.

1047, I did not ask whether you are MOTIVATED. I asked whether you think you are MOTIVATIONAL.

There is a difference. One can be motivated without being motivational.
On another note, I don't think it's accurate to assume that you KNOW what is best for others. You can choose what is best for you, and you can have an opinion about what is best for all, but that's as far as it goes.
I think we are splitting hairs here. I am going to continue to witness what I have found to be true, and that is Jesus was sent into this world to SEEK and to Save all who would come to him. Do I think everyone will accept his offer, NO they will not and you may not,
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Thank u Heps!

1047, It is not a matter of whether I like u or not! I really have no opinion
Of u at this time! I've no personal knowledge of u so I've nothing to go on.
It's your idea of knowing what is best for others when in reality you've no
Idea of that! What is good for u... What works for u may not work for others!

Surely you can't be serious, Do you really mean that you would give up your seat on the Ark of Salvation Jesus Christ the Saviour just because you think you don't like me. That seems to be the ultimate of small thinking.. If you would lift your eyes up to see the Saviour you then would then forget about the faults you precieve in us little people.

Actually yes, it is wrong of you! As it is you who is making the decision as to what is "best" for everyone else.

A relationship with the Christ is a personal one...not one that mimics your relationship, if you should every have one.

I was asking him for his opinion about whether he is a motivational speaker. I mean, he's bound to have some thoughts one way or another.

I am motivated by what the Redeemer did for me when he forgave me of my many sins and gave me Eternal Life when I deserved nothing good. I believe he will do the same for anyone who will accept him as Saviour. Is it wrong of me to want the best for you?

1047
Your posts are inspiring. One's faith is no more powerful than the object of his faith. Little faith in a big God can move mountains. Faith in Jesus Christ is powerful and His word is powerful. Any other faith is sinking sand.
Thanks 1047 for sticking with the Word.

Thank you for your words of encouragement
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. For this battle we must have our faith in the Lord Jesus and not in ourselves,
2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Only Christ Jesus through the Holy Spirit can give us this victory.

A derogatory term for forum posts which contain a direct or nearly direct copy-and-paste of memes, posts from older forum discussions, or other material, often accompanied by an attempt to pass off the contents as new and original.

That's a monkey peeing in his mouth......from my perspective.

If someone else thinks he's quenching his thirst, that's their perspective, but I don't think it will be a popular one.
