I support gay marriage nor do I care if they suck face, but I suppose I find it nasty when I see 2 genders go at. Find it mean as you want but I only consider them friends and nothing more.

2 men getting married lets look at the pros.
Toilet seat is always up
Watch football and nascar all weekend
No fruity mixed drinks or wine coolers just beer
No more tear jerking movies
No pms to deal with
No more honey do lists
No make up,hairdryers or curling irons laying every where in the bathroom
I can probably use the telephone anytime I want to
Set the thermostat at 68 degrees
Cons
Have to buy lots of ky jelly and hemorrhoid cream
This may just be the way to go.

I love you, Wilkes! The support you give to gays is overwhelming. So..... with that in mind. I want to let you all know...... that I will be opening/starting my first business right here! Its a pet store, called "Rainbow Pets"! We will specialize in hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs! Also dogs and cat fashion clothing!

Congrats to you and your man!! Don't let the haters get you down! I would check into getting one of your friends/family ordained on-line. It's cheap and easy, then someone special can marry you GUYS! I love it. God made us ALL in HIS image and God doesn't make mistakes. So be happy with your mate and forget the people who try to make themselves feel superior by belittling you and your choices!!

Why are you looking for a church for this type of union? If a religions doctrine does not recognize same sex marriage why would you want them to recognize you with a ceremony. The recent Appeals Court ruling does not change NC law, at this time, once this winds it's way through the Supreme Court then there will be no legal barrier for the state and its subdivisions to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples.
That will not change what a church or any given pastor is willing to do regarding a religious ceremony.
A change in the law will be just that, a legal change not a religious one.

If they want to marry, let them. Love is Love. There will always be straight people and gay people and isolation won't stop gay and lesbian people from being born, remember it took two straight people to make a gay or lesbian baby that grew up to be an adult. Some of you are complete idiots thinking isolation of gays and lesbians will wipe them out and stop them from being born! Are you really that dumb?
