Only stores that give cash back are some grocery stores. NOT REAL. Got people out here that knows how to make things look real. If you notice the date here is one clue, May 24th 2016 and waited until May 31st to bring it up. If this was real, they have it on here next day or later that night.

A young woman that doesn't know how to use the Internet?

OMG, that may be the biggest lie yet!

No one can "skim" without using a pin number...your very own pin number that you use, not anyone else..seriously you folks don't have a pin number???

Besides that, did you folks take a good long look at that table the receipt was on...good lawds, please tell me no one eats off of that thang!!!! Mercy!

Sounds like the cashier is skimming.

You don't know many young women, do you? I'm guessing you don't talk to many women at all, other than your mom when she comes to the basement to wash clothes and bring you a sandwich.

She knows how to text. She doesn't know how to use a website. It's not that complicated.

It makes no difference to me whether you believe it or not. It's your stupidity showing, not mine.

From a phone with Internet. Again, tell another one

I guess you've never heard of a text? And I guess you're either so blind or stupid that you can't see the obvious change in font where I pasted what she said?

She doesn't know how to use a computer, but she sent you this story and photo?

Tell another lie. The only way such a mistake could happen is if the cardholder clicked on cash back, oked the total, and entered a PIN number. The customer is the one that made the mistake.

FWIW, I posted this thread for a friend because she doesn't know how to use a computer. She sent it to me, and I just copied it from her message. That's why it goes from "a friend" to "my mom".

I don't think she would have any reason to lie about it, but I really don't know the answers to your questions.

So wait, does that mean that it really happened? I was starting to think it might be somebody with a vendetta against a cashier with red hair and light skin.

It is my understanding that this was a simple mistake and that it was taken care of immediately. I am not sure why this poster wants to continue bashing Foothills Grocery here and on Facebook, but you should be ashamed of yourself.

I don't believe this receipt belongs to the transaction claimed. Take it to the manager of the store: too many discrepancies to be true.

Which requires a PIN number and you OKing the total

The receipt says card type: Debit instead of Credit

It didn't happen. Already been debunked. Also, didn't anyone notice the OP first said "a friend" and then claimed it was his mom?

The customer either had to sign a receipt or input their pin number. If this really truly happened, then start at your bank and tell them that the transaction doesn't match your purchase. They will then go through the proper channels and the store will have to provide documentation which could include a signature or pin based transaction and video footage. If fraud happened then they will take care of that also. I'm certain that the owner of the store would not endorse a practice like this.

Like "just asking" , I'm wondering where this place is, the name sounds familiar, but can't place it.
