buy a $5.00 disposable grill some hotdogs, buns. chips, slaw, chili and soda. seriously if they are family and friends they shouldn't expect much. whatever you do don't take them to golden corral ,its like $13.50 per person and it sucks arse unless you like raw beef ,rare pork, dried out bread and deserts and you are expected to tip a waitress that lets you die of thirst...http://www.goldencorrallistens.com...my arse

I noticed that KFC had a sign that they cater parties. You might try something like that.

if we all lived locally then we would just go to sams and buy the food and fix it all ourselves, but due to the situation that is kind of our last option.

We have called and gotten prices from walmart and sams for their party trays and we are keeping that as an option, but we want to get a price for a cater and see if it will be cheaper. I personally haven't called the smokehouse to ask, my cousin had called them sometime last yr and asked them if they would cater a finger food menu and they told her no. But I will certainly call them tomorrow

Have you talked to Smokehouse? They certainly did finger foods AND a meal for a recent family wedding reception.

Have you considered going with party trays from a deli? You can get fruit , veggie , chicken tender sandwich & cookie trays for a good price & have them when you need them.

Looking for a caterer to help with a 50th anniversary party. I know the smokehouse in Wilkesboro caters, but the family is wanting to use a cater that will do finger foods(because most of the family live out of town and won't be able to be in town until the morning of and therefore won't have the time to get and put together all the food), not a full blown meal, and the smokehouse does a meal. Any suggestions, names and numbers would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
