Have you already tried the catalytic convertor cleaner some auto parts stores sell? Seems like a seen a YouTube video where Scotty Kilmer or someone soaks the cat conv in hot soapy water to fix it. We're talking big money to buy a new one so It may be woth a try.

My car needs a new catalytic converter and I was wondering about how much that would be to get fixed and where would be a good place to get that fixed at. Can anyone give me some estimates? It's for a 2006 toyota corolla.
