boo, normally I would agree. This is gowilkes land and it's not necessarily a good place for life advice and all. It's just that I think winds doesn't get out much and this is what she has. Gowilkes and facebook. I do think that Winds takes advice to heart and maybe we can help. Maybe not now, but maybe we plant that seed and she may think differently at some point. Never underestimate the power of words. Written or spoken.

If you don't care about the dogs, goodie for you. Some folks on here are concerned about the dogs, some about the MIL, if you aren't concerned, why bother ranting about it?

Whatever amount of time it takes to help these helpless animals and to help winds herself...is time very well spent, even if it is via the internet, phone ...etc etc etc...it is still time well spent!

You maybe didn't start another new thread besides this one but you sure don't mi d chiming in with the same blathering when given the chance.

I don't like or dislike you truth, I just think your time could be better spent then picking on people for doing things differently then you. winds can use my tax dollars any way she sees fit. Have you seen her and her hubby? If I was born with the mental issues they have and digs was the worst of my problems I would consider myself lucky.

Boohoo, I don't think your opinion has changed from your 2007 statement, I think you just don't like me so are taking the devils advocate position. By all means, throw a fundraiser for winds, who has created her mess all by herself, and see how much you raise. Are you saying you have no problem with her misusing the funds provided by the state for food, power and living expenses, then coming on here begging for money to keep the power on?

I have done my share of rescuing and know my limits, which is what everyone is wanting winds to do.

Why should any of us, take up winds problems...these are her dogs, none of us should have to clean up what she has done to herself.

Yesterday, I offered to pay for the dogs surgery...on the condition that the dog never goes back to winds home...from whence it came and where it was injured according to winds.

None of us has absolutely no reason not to believe what winds says here on gowilkes or on her facebook page. She's been consistent on both sites...with her pity parties, her domestic abuse accusations and by her own admissions her mistreatment of her mother in law and not properly taking care of her animals.

Winds made this bed and lies in this bed all on her own, it's time she learns a little responsibility and cleans up the bed....all on her own.

Many of us has offered suggestions as to how she can help herself, which is the most valuable lesson!!!

You need a life. Winds offered you 2 of her dogs yesterday but your bleeding heart declined. You get off on her drama and that is sad. Why aren't you doing more to help than reporting her and giving her numbers for domestic abuse? Why not a fundraiser to pay for vet care? I'm sure the vet could retain the funds and apply them as needed for the dogs. simple answer is that you don't really want to help. You just enjoy the drama.

Maybe rehome a few doggies and the hubbie?

If she is living with the threat of violence, like she says, I am concerned about her, too. That is why I posted numbers for a domestic abuse hotline.

Occasionally my 12 year old Chihuahua wears little shirts! Its adorable and even has little sweater for winter. But again I don't allow him on my furniture! You can love, baby your pets but that doesn't mean your going to treat them better or more highly than human life, such as children.
