The media, no matter how small the market has a way with words. You guys need to think outside the box.
Yes Wilkes has almost 100 more reported cases than Surry. The key word is REPORTED. The community in Surry most likely isn't doing their job. Another thing is these are just "reports" which means they are nothing until it is proven. I would say a pretty decent percentage of these "reports" are false and hold little weight.
I agree with the OP though. The JP does post a lot of negative news around the community.

Amen ! they have a lot of articles about the good folks in Wilkes. Should they not print drug busts,and other crimes ? You all would be shouting from the roof tops if they didn't.
