Adam Ruins Everything Why Building a Border Wall Makes No Sense

Hangsleft,
When you say 40% initially came legally, what about the remaining 60%. Which is 150% more than those coming via plane "if that is a true representative figure". Either way 100% are breaking the law.
You really have to ask yourself a question
Why is it that there are more Democrats willing to make laws to fine people with more taxes and penalties that were born in the US and accumulated wealth, than people who are currently breaking the law.

History people. Look at history. Ever since America has been, under every President, companies have been importing immigrants for cheap labor. No one in the business world want to stop low waged immigrants from entering America. They like illegal immigrants even more then legal ones. The illegal ones can not complain about poor or dangerous working conditions. Trump is not going to fix this and neither is Hillary. Face it, our leadership are not concerned with working Americans. They only care about the super wealthy Americans. We are here cursing each other and degrading each other over issues that no one is going to do anything helpful to us for us. If you are foolish enough to think a billionaire who cheats his workers and imports his products is going to help you, your mind is to far gone to be helped.

Oh the economic damage would be far worse than that. The figures given are a very low estimate.

Brandon, you need to check facts on companies bringing foreign help to the US on work visas and then those employees outstaying their visa. Guess what Trump does? Give up? Imports foreign workers. 40% of undocumented workers are those who came here legally and then stayed. Building a wall Ain't gonna help that problem.

http://www.wsj.com/articles...0101110032

"Proponents of overhauling the U.S. immigration system increasingly point to the fact that about 40% of the 11 million undocumented workers in the country aren't low-wage workers who sneaked over the southern border illegally, but rather foreigners who arrived legally and simply never left."

Your forgetting Hillary, what is she going to do to curtail illegals that are causing lower wages?

The truth is that the illegals are not costing us anything because most if not all are actually working. What we lose is jobs for Americans and lower wages. Trump and his gang of 1%ers are making money for every illegal that is in America. Now, do you really believe Trump is going to export his source of cheap labor? Trump lies about everything and logic tells us he is lying about this also.

I guess I will come burst your bubble. The clip you presented lacks details and only fits for a minute perspective.
The illegals in the country right now would cost us 40 billion to deport, that does not count any further illegal immigrants. This number would exponentially increase over time.
Adam says it would cost 15-25 billion to build, what would it cost us to wait? What would the cost be to nothing at all?
Trump has produced plans to offset the expenditure of building a wall. Hillary has pretty much said come on in we will pay for you to live here.
25% get here by plane. That means 75% are not using a plane.
Financially it would be negligent to do nothing.
Illegals come in willing to accept jobs, and drive down the market price of wages.
Illegals will send a portion of that money back to their homes in other countries.

The labor participation rate is at the lowest it has been since the 70's. How would bringing more people into our country help this?
In what way will not building a wall help America? It has the same idea as improving roads, invest in infrastructure, give jobs to thousands, and reduce a current growing burden.
